About The
Author
David Michael Orielly
I attended Catholic Grade School and 2 years in High School. I was an Altar Boy for 4 years and served 7 days a week. I was well educated and learned how to study under the Catholic discipline. I have read and own hundreds of paperbacks. I started writing in Grade School and continued when I hitchhiked from coast to coast due to reading Jack Kerouac’s novel On the Road. I just had to do it. I had 7 jobs in one year and lots of adventures and meeting interesting people. This focused me on life’s education.
My work experiences were varied like working on a farm driving a tractor. Logging in Oregon and Northern California. Bartender for 7 years and other restaurant positions. Then 31 years in Consumer Finance. Meeting and working alongside great mentors in my life has enabled me to write this book and to set the record strait. Nuns provided the building blocks and survival instinct to live a life worth living.
